Sonia George Dachepalli is the Speech language Pathologist in our Center.

She has been working in the field of Speech language Pathology for 18 years .She completed her undergraduate studies from All India Institute of Speech and Hearing and her graduate program from Ali Yavar Jung National Institute for the Hearing Handicapped , India in 1997.She worked as a Speech Therapist and Audiologist in India for a non-profit organization for a year before coming to the US. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA .She is licensed in the state of Illinois and holds memberships in ASHA and ISHA. She has experience in school systems and adult settings. She worked for Los Angeles School district ,CA and Roswell School District ,NM ( head start, preschool, elementary and high school) .Her experience in geriatric population has been in sub- acute settings, assisted living settings and long term care settings where her diverse population includes those with dysphagia, cognitive-communication deficits, aphasia dysarthria and tracheostomy. She does bilingual evaluations in Hindi and Malayalam and occasionally in Telugu ( which are Indian languages) in schools and early childhood centers.
